The insanity that is California

In California, the belief is that pollution can be legislated away. The heck with the people who will be hurt in the process.

California took another step toward its goal of ridding the state of all gas-powered engines thanks to a new bill signed by Gov. Gavin Newsom on Saturday.

The new law will ban the sale of all off-road, gas-powered engines, including generators, lawn equipment, pressure washers, chainsaws, weed trimmers, and even golf carts. Under the new law , these machines must be zero-emissions, meaning they will have to be either battery-powered or plug-in, according to the Los Angeles Times .

In a state where they turn off the power for windstorms, no gas-powered generators. Yeah, this makes all kinds of sense.

If you’re living in California, why? Is it really worth staying because of “My job” or “My family has been here for 150 years”? California is at the bleeding edge of the collapse of the United States, and they’re doing everything they can to speed up the process. However, knowing the ways of Leftists, I’m watching for the state that tells California to “Hold my beer”. It’s coming.

  1. Un-freaking-believable. Geez, maybe the state will give everyone goats to mow the grass? Oh wait, that’s probably more pollution. Just let the weeds grow and overtake everything. And don’t cut any trees either.
Well, just go sit quietly in your cage until someone comes to feed you.

  2. And…. the extra drain on the grid to use more electric tools, and recharge more batteries, will cause more blackouts. It’s perfect!
