Sure, you showed the world that gun owners aren’t freaks. Unfortunately, most of the world watches the legacy media, where you were portrayed as freaks, so not much of a win there.
As far as stopping any of the pending legislation, that’s not happening either. The Democrats are going to plow on, not because the voters approve, but because they understand the raw, naked use of power. They know they won’t have it forever, so they’re going to shove through every wet dream gun control law they can conceive of. Maybe some will be overturned in court, but some won’t. And no matter what the next election brings, they’ve won another victory.
I hope you have a Plan B ready to go if you’re a citizen of Virginia.
