It seems belle de jour has given up blogging. Well, OK.
Over on the left, there used to be a “Guilty Pleasures” category, and her blog was the only thing in it. Eventually I took it out, because it just got, well, old. Read a sample from the early stuff, then a sample from the middle and then a sample from the end, and I think you’ll understand.
Nothing against her (assuming she’s real, and that is an assumption, given the nature of the Internet–dog-gone it, I can’t find an image of that New Yorker cartoon anywhere). But after reading everything she’d written up until a couple of months ago, and then reading the last few posts, I felt like I hadn’t missed anything.
