We were at lunch. While waiting on the food (meat loaf, fried okra, fried squash and apple sauce–eat your hearts out), I see this guy on horseback, leading a string of 4 other horses, riding down the side of US 64. It’s over 90o, sunny and humid–you know, normal late spring weather. Not my idea of a great day for a ride.
My lunch partner and I speculated on “What the heck is this guy doing?” Well, now we know. This guy is on a serious ride, from Argentina, north through the US, across the Atlantic, through Europe and to North Africa. Pretty amazing stuff. Good luck, compadre.
