Color me amazed

A man toting an assault rifle was among a dozen protesters carrying weapons while demonstrating outside President Obama’s speech to veterans on Monday, but no laws were broken.

Not only does CNN get it right in their story, but so do the Phoenix PD and the US Secret Service. Both of these organizations have my admiration and thanks for having a calm, cool reaction to a citizen exercising his rights as protected by the Second Amendment.

And we should note neither the gun nor the owner started “spraying” bullets around. I suppose that should be considered nothing less than a miracle, given what the gun grabbers say about those mythical evil “assault weapons” and those of us who own them.

Sir, I don’t know who you are, but God bless you for your courage. Nice gun you have there.

Edit 1558: FOXNews reports that a Northern Arizona University political scientist has wet his pants is concerned about this “disturbing trend”. Wuss.
