Of course they won’t. First, we get a recommendation to delay mammograms and now we’re recommending a delay cervical exams. I understand that neither of these are going to directly effect anything, and I’m aware that supposedly both of these are meant to improve women’s health. But the timing is interesting, especially since these groups do get a say-so in the guidelines for health-related testing procedures, and those guidelines directly effect what insurance companies pay for.
