I’ve been keeping up with the lunacy in the US House this afternoon. It seems, shouting and catcalls aside, the Democrats are going to be successful substituting their judgment for that of the people who elected them, and are going to pass the Senate’s version health care destruction reform bill.
We had a nice run while it lasted, and while I’m not ready to give up the fight, I suspect it’s rapidly becoming more of a desperate last stand.
Or the opening act of a revolution.
Yep, if the courts do not find this not Constitutional, then that is exactly what we will get.
In fact it reminds me of a quote from Franklin when asked what the people were given after the signing of the Constitution.
He replied,"A Republic, if you can keep it"
I gotta be honest, with the short attention spanned citzen we have today, I don't think we can.
Just my thoughts on the matter.
The comments aired by the 'lamestream media' after the bill passed reminded me of a very bad episode of "Jaywalking" on Leno. That, unfortunately, is what our state-run schools have produced, and the state-run media maintains.
The "Late unpleasantness" (War Between the States) will look like a Sunday school picnic compared to what we are bringing on our children- if not ourselves.
