It still has to sting when more old folks like Paul Ryan’s budget plan than his. Interestingly enough, the only ones who support it are in the 18-29 age group, which is least likely to be effected by any of The Big O’s tax increases or other changes.

I’m still in favor of the concept that a person must have fulfilled some sort of national service requirement (a la Heinlein’s Starship Troopers) or that you must own real property in excess of some significant value before you can be enfranchised. You ought to have skin in the game.

I agree with you. However, it you seriously proposed that is some liberal areas of the country, the librul peepuls there would convert to death penalty proponents long enough to hang you before converting back.
