No, the Federal government isn’t in danger of immanent collapse as far as we know. But, given the speed at which thing can change in our modern world, how far out is “the foreseeable future”? At one time, that meant 3-5 years. These days, it seems to me to be more like 3-5 months.

State representatives on Friday advanced legislation to launch a study into what Wyoming should do in the event of a complete economic or political collapse in the United States.

We do indeed live in interesting times.
