No, no, teachers don’t want to be armed

(Via the Drudge Report)

Except when they do.

Here at The Freehold, we are only a couple of months (ish) from out last child leaving the public schools.  We’ve been fortunate to have some decent ones.  We’ve had to unteach some nonsense, and Army JROTC has taken the place of much of what they didn’t get in their regular classes.  (JROTC is the best civics class ever.  Go figure.)

I know I would have been more comfortable knowing that some unknown number of willing teachers in their schools had not only the proper tools to teach with, but the proper tools to defend them with as well.
