I’m making progress, but it’s slow progress. The NP at the doc-in-a-box declared this stuff to be sinusitis with a side of sinus infection, but I’ve never had sinusitis hang on this hard or this long. This stuff has felt by turns like a sinus infection, bronchitis, the Wuflu or the flu-flu, miserable seasonal allergies or the worst head cold in history. Often it has felt like two or three of those on the same day, sometimes at the same time. I have never and I hope to never again.
And for the record, you can cough long enough and hard enough to trigger a migraine—four of them in my case. It never rains but it pours.
But I am slowly beating it. The coughing has eased up dramatically. The wonderful nasal drainage is more or less under control. The congestion is less congested. I’m not sleeping 16 hours a day. So yeah, progress.
Now that the fog is clearing, I looked back at the last post and noticed that I referred to something I had meant to write about last week. No one’s questioned me on it, so I still get to stage the Grand Announcement.
In the next post. 🙂
