Now here’s a Republican who is worth having around

In just two months, Mr. Cruz, 42, has made his presence felt in an institution where new arrivals are usually not heard from for months, if not years.

Oh, you wicked, wicked Senator.  Why, you have questioned The Obama’s pick for SecDef, called out the mayor of the murder capital of the US, and pissed off Barbara Boxer, who has labeled you a McCarthyite.

Good for you.  It’s past time someone shook up the Greatest Rubber Stamp Deliberative Body in the World.

And where is Sen. Cruz from?  Texas.  I’m telling you, even though I’m sure the place has some warts  (Austin, most likely), the place is at or near the top of my list of locations to consider if I’m ever forced to leave California East (known as North Carolina in happier times).
