Much has been made of the creeping socialism that is coming to define life in these United States. Over my lifetime, it’s been picking up speed until now I can feel the wind in my face. Often, though, you can’t quite tell just where the breeze orginates. At least in the Case of High Allegheny National Park, you can.
Objections are many and varied, as The Revivalist notes. My main objection is the creation of another area in which the traditional uses of the land will be forbidden, and where those lands that are privately owned will be slowly incorporated into this new park.
I may sound like the conspiracy theorists out there, but the light of liberty seems to be getting dimmer by the year.
