“Someone” cuts a fence and torches 5 “high mileage” state-owned vehicles.
Option A: “Someone” was ticked off at how they had been treated by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control and decided to get even.
Option B: “Someone” decided that, with the current budgets being what they are, that they new vehicles they wanted wouldn’t be forthcoming, and decided that they were by dingy going to get some new wheels this year no matter what.
Option C: It was an act of random vandalism, and it’s highly unlikely they’ll catch the culprit.
In my current cynical mood, I just can’t buy into Option C. And no matter which answer you chose, I’m betting the taxpayers of SC are going to take this one in the shorts.
